The cult of originality. Why do we need new ideas all the time? Fashion becomes as ridiculous as the art world in its unending quest for novelty. Why? To SELL. Designers need to convince us we need something new.


Consider another option: Timeless, elegant, style, instead of fashion. Figure out what looks best on you. A reasonably sized wardrobe. Wear and repair your clothes as long as they last. Better for your appearance, finances, sanity, and the environment.
